Sage software updates

Sage software updates are changes to your software designed to resolve issues or improve performance. They are safe and secure and are great hassle-free way of keeping your software up-to-date with the latest improvements.

Checks for updates and downloads can be done automatically for you, but you do have the choice to take more control if you prefer. Even on automatic updates, you are always prompted to confirm the installation of a Sage software update.

To change your software update settings

 

There are a number of settings to choose from depending on how much you want to be involved in the update and whether you want to be notified of new updates when you open your software.

Every update includes details of the changes it makes to your software, so you can check before deciding whether to go ahead.

Your software checks for updates every seven days.

Manually controlled updates

You choose if and when the software checks for updates to download and install.

To turn the automatic checks off, choose Tools > Internet Options. Click the Software Updates tab and then select the Manual update option. To check for updates, choose Help > Check for Updates.
